How to Apply

To apply to Moving Forward, you or your family will need to call us at 707-259-1125 or send us an email so we can schedule an admissions phone call with our program in Napa, California.

Prior to scheduling a tour, we ask all prospective residents to provide a psychological-educational report.

During the initial visit, you and your family will meet with the Moving Forward Community Resource Specialist and will take a tour of the program. Bring all your questions!

  1. You'll be introduced to current residents and staff that you see on tour.

  2. After the tour, prospective residents or their family must send in a completed application form along with application fees, and any documentation requested, before the admissions process can continue.

  3. We continue with an overnight stay, an important part of our admissions process, so the prospective resident can really experience life at Moving Forward before making a decision.

We make the admissions process as comfortable as possible, knowing that change is not easy for people like our residents.

We can answer any questions when we start discussing your interest in applying to Moving Forward Towards Independence. We will provide the admission form and more direction on the other materials we want to review.
